Sport Club Corinthians Paulista has reached a new long-term sponsorship contract with “Esportes da Sorte”, obtaining one of the most lucrative sponsorship contracts in Brazilian football. This new sponsorship contract means that the club will assuredly receive at least R$150 million every year, and the amount can go up to R$200 million every year based on certain achievements.
The new deal will be signed in the next few days after the final exchange and approval of the contract drafts have been done by both parties. The new deal is valid for 2029 and enhances the partnership between the club and the bookmaker company.
How the New Master Sponsorship Could Reach R$200 Million per Year
The guaranteed annual value already represents a significant increase compared to the current contract, which pays R$103 million per season. According to club sources, the new structure combines fixed payments with contractual deliveries that have guaranteed fulfillment, providing greater financial predictability.
Consequently, the Corinthians board expects a marked escalation in the sponsorship income this month, as the agreement has taken effect. After this, the club will be under the terms of the new conditions, which were different than those in the former agreement.
In the former agreement, the total sum was fixed at R$309 million, with an outlay of R$57 million on players directly. Of this amount, R$36 million was dedicated to paying salaries, while another R$21 million was attributed to signing bonuses. These were tied to the influence of forward Memphis Depay.
On the other hand, the new agreement does not set aside any money for any particular player. The club has total flexibility to use the funds generated by the sponsors as per their targets.
Brand Exposure, Flexibility, and Additional Revenue Streams
Another important deviation in the new agreement regards the exposure of the brand in other sports at Corinthians. The agreement presents the convenience of modality sponsorship as the master sponsor for sports like basketball, volleyball, futsal, and women’s football.
Should new sponsors appear for the above-mentioned teams, other firms could fill the main position for the shirts. Accordingly, “Esportes da Sorte” would move to a new position on the jerseys. This would also come with economic compensation to ensure that the club continues to earn money from this partnership.
The agreement also provides for access to other budgets, including marketing budgets, projects that benefit from tax incentive laws, and licensing initiatives. In marketing terms, part of the value of the contract can be assigned for joint activities agreed upon in collaboration with the sponsor.
This model facilitates some activities happening without the club dipping into cash flow, which would impact the club’s already projected expenses. In addition, the contract has a provision of performance bonuses that will earn the club even more revenue through titles and accomplishments in both the male and female leagues.
Impact on Other Deals and 2026 Sponsorship Projections
The board estimates that, depending on sporting performance, the annual revenue generated by the master sponsorship alone could reach the R$200 million ceiling. In addition to the aforementioned partnership, Corinthians has also renewed other commercial partnerships.
Ezze Seguros’ sponsorship will appear on the shirts of the club until June 30, 2026, whereas the agreement with the food company Frimeza has been extended until December 31, 2026. Terms of these sponsorships were not revealed.
Aspects to be considered in the future, Corinthians has budgeted R$255 million annual revenue from sponsors for the year 2026, reflecting a 47% variation from the budgeted value of 2025, with the focus being the master partnership deal with the brand “Esportes da Sorte”, which will position the club among the strongest commercially performing teams in Brazilian football.
